Frequently Asked Questions
How much will my cabinets cost?
The cost of your cabinets can vary greatly depending on your final design and the
cabinets you choose for your home. Under Budget Kitchens provides entry-level
cabinets all the way up to custom cabinets and we can almost certainly find something
to fit your budget.
How long will it take for my new cabinets to arrive?
Order and delivery time vary depending on the manufacturer. We can receive some cabinets
in as little as four weeks and some may take as long as eight weeks. Once you make your
choice we will be able to tell you exactly when your cabinets will arrive and schedule
an installation date with you.
Do you charge a measure fee or any other fees in addition to the price of my cabinets?
We do not charge a fee to come to your house and take measurements or to design your
kitchen. Customers will receive one rendering after completing the design process. In
some cases, if many design revisions are requested we may ask for a design retainer
which will be credited from the final cost of your cabinets. Complete floor-plans are
provided once the cabinets have been purchased.
Do you offer cabinet re-facing?
We do not offer cabinet re-facing. We can typically sell a whole kitchen for about the same
or possibly less than it costs to re-face a whole kitchen.
Do you sell countertops?
We work with a countertop fabricator who works with granite, laminate and solid surface
countertops. We have samples available here in the showroom.
Can you match my existing cabinets?
Woods and stains vary greatly and also change color over time. We can do our best to find
something that will come close to your existing cabinets but in no way can we guarantee
that we can find a perfect match.
Are your cabinets made in the United States?
All of our cabinets are manufactured either in the United States or Canada and all are
KCMA (Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association) certified.
Do you paint cabinets?
We do not paint cabinets or sell unfinished cabinets as the quality would not match
that of our manufacturers. The finishing process that our manufacturers use is a
superior finishing process called Conversion Varnish – it’s very durable and
non-yellowing. It also needs to be applied at certain temperatures and then oven
dried in order to get the best finish and durability.
Can you complete my whole remodel?
We offer a turnkey solution for cabinets and countertops. For jobs that require major
structural changes, we maintain a current list of General Contractors and Sub-Contractors
that have been recommended by previous customers.
